These Terms of Use govern access to What To Test. By using the site, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to accept these terms. If you use What To Test for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to act for it.

What To Test provides browser-based QA/SDET learning materials, simulated labs, local checklist scoring, progress tools, examples, optional AI review, and ways to request professional services. Simulators do not execute commands against your computer or represent a production backend unless a page clearly says otherwise.

The service is educational. Scores, examples, readiness labels, AI feedback, and suggested answers are guidance, not guarantees of employment, interview performance, software quality, security, or professional certification.

Free access includes selected starter content and basic product features. Pro Pack unlocks designated advanced content and tools using an access code in the browser. Current inclusions and launch pricing are described on the Pricing page and may change for future purchases.

Pro Pack is currently presented as one-time launch access, not a recurring subscription. Online checkout is not available on the site. If access is arranged directly, the price, payment method, scope, and any applicable refund terms will be confirmed before payment.

Access codes are for the intended recipient or team and must not be published, resold, shared broadly, bypassed, guessed through automation, or used to interfere with access controls. What To Test may revoke codes obtained or used through fraud, abuse, chargeback, or unauthorized distribution.

Personal reviews, coaching, audits, training, and team work are optional services arranged separately. A request form does not create a contract or guarantee availability. Scope, timing, fees, deliverables, confidentiality, cancellation, and payment terms are agreed before paid work begins.

You may use What To Test for personal learning and legitimate internal evaluation. You must not:

• break laws, violate another person's rights, or submit content you are not permitted to use;
• probe, attack, overload, scrape at scale, reverse engineer access controls, or disrupt the service;
• upload malware, secrets, production credentials, personal data, or harmful content;
• copy, resell, republish, or build a competing content library from substantial parts of the service;
• misrepresent generated feedback or completion status as a formal qualification issued by What To Test.

You retain rights in answers, notes, and code you create. You grant What To Test the limited permission needed to process content for features you request. Ordinary progress and practice content is generally stored locally in your browser.

If you request AI review, submitted answer text or automation code and relevant scenario context are processed by OpenAI to return feedback. You are responsible for removing confidential, proprietary, personal, or secret information before submission. AI output may be incomplete or incorrect and should be reviewed critically.

The What To Test name, site design, original scenarios, checklists, explanations, software, and other product content are owned by the operator or used with permission. These terms give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership. Brief quotations and links are permitted where allowed by law.

The service may be changed, interrupted, limited, or discontinued. Features may contain errors, and local browser data can be lost. You are responsible for keeping copies of anything important. What To Test may suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or material breach of these terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, What To Test and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.

These terms may be updated as the service changes. The effective date identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply, subject to applicable law.
